We are delighted with our cutting & charcuterie boards and table you created from the olive tree plank taken from our property. We especially appreciated the collaborative approach for this project, the result of which is you transforming that olive plank into objects of art. One of the boards we are keeping for display, nothing will be cut on it. The table is in our living room, it looks great. Each of our daughters is delighted to have a board as a beautiful memento of that tree from our property. It was a pleasure to meet and work with you on this project, also thankful we found you. Custom Cabinet required Sitka to design, build and install a custom cabinet into a previously wasted space in our guest bedroom. Annie and Martin were very thoughtful with the design to ensure that the end result would be functional to meet our requirements, and second, blend in beautifully, with the room décor. We finally have a place, now, for a large vinyl record collection, flat screen tv, and huge storage draws to house winter clothing and other bulky items. Heirloom Piece Restoration was on a 1960’s era teak chair that had badly deteriorated over the decades requiring a full overhaul including custom upholstery work. The end result is an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture that is a now a pop of WOW in our living room. Annie and Martin are professionals. They seek to understand requirements fully, delivering creative results on budget and on time. We would hire Sitka Concept again, and would not hesitate to recommend Sitka to others and, in fact, already have!

I’ve had a Scandinavian dining room suite for 50-60 years, purchased from a friend who said it was already 40-50 years old. This wood set is old but has served my family well. I planned to replace it but never found anything I liked as much. I heard about Sitka Concept from a friend and a local magazine. I contacted Annie (in 2021 or 2022), and she kindly agreed to consider my project if I could wait until Martin completed other contracts. Last fall, my project began. Annie guided me in choosing seat cover material and visited our home to understand my style (I’m thrilled with the choice—practical and decorative). Martin did extensive repairs on the chairs and table, making everything as sturdy as new. We discussed finishes, and I opted for matte over the original high gloss. I was amazed by how Martin brought out the wood’s natural grain, transforming what I thought was just uniform brown. I couldn’t be more pleased and impressed with Sitka Concept’s work—Martin is a true artist and master woodworker, and both he and Annie are highly professional. Thank you!
