We actually finished the biggest to-do list items: AKA removing a kitchen wall and a closet, fixing the ceiling, changing all flooring, creating a custom railing, installing all the baseboards, painting, installing wallpaper, and changing all light fixtures, finishing the very same day baby #2 arrived! What a good timing lol! The plan was to do most of the heavy, dusty jobs before the baby arrived. We couldn’t have been closer to that…
We returned a month later to install all the living room built-ins and the kitchen island, once baby and mommy were rested. We are always adapting and every household is different! But I must admit this one was a little close. I was nervous but the homeowner was very calm and serene…. almost enjoying her time away from home, like a forced holiday just before having her baby. Which, after reflection, totally makes sense! Thanks, Mommy, for your tremendous patience and understanding.
We had Annie and Martin renovate our main floor living area. We could not be any happier. They were able to take our rough ideas and elevate them by making our house a beautiful, functional living space for a growing family. We felt cared for and important when they were working with us.
They were extremely flexible when our second child arrived and they were able to work around us. We can’t wait to have them back for our future projects.
Heirloom Piece Restoration was on a 1960’s era teak chair that had badly deteriorated over the decades requiring a full overhaul including custom upholstery work. The end result is an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture that is a now a pop of WOW in our living room.
Annie and Martin are professionals. They seek to understand requirements fully, delivering creative results on budget and on time. We would hire Sitka Concept again, and would not hesitate to recommend Sitka to others and, in fact, already have!
